The siding on one part of our house was carried away by the recent blizzard we had in Elkhorn, and we had Smith Roofing and Exteriors in Elkhorn repair it. The replacement siding matched perfectly. The work was done very quickly and professionally. My wife and I are extremely happy with the work.
Matt is easy to talk to and work with. He explains the process thoroughly. His father ran the crew and showed me the damage to my roof considering I had replace 39 boards. The crew itself ran like a well maintained machine. I mean that. They lined up and marched them bundles right up the ladder. I have a 1350 sq ft house with a 2 car garage and even with the repairs, they got it done in about 5 1/2 hours.
This guys are the best. I can’t say enough good things about them I recommend them to all my friends and family .

Had a great experience working with owner Matt Smith to get my roof and gutters replaced. We love the new roof, it feels like such an upgrade! Matt was super easy to work with from our first meeting through the rest of the project. He laid out some options for us at our initial meeting and gave us time to figure out what worked best for us. When it came to roofing day, his guys came and got the roof done in a day and left no mess behind. They were even able to save a cupola on the garage roof that we are hoping to refinish. The new gutters work great and are a definite upgrade over our last ones. For one of the biggest projects on our house we've done so far, the team definitely came through! We love that they are a local business and would definitely recommend Smith Roofing to anyone in the area.
Update 2026: Had an issue with my flat roof after a recent storm (not originally installed by them). Chris came out to take a look and provided me with a diagnosis and how to best mitigate the issue. He and the team at Smith are still great to work with and I highly recommend them if you need a roofer!

I just had my metal roof replaced in Delavan, WI, and couldn’t be happier with the results. The crew was professional, efficient, and paid great attention to detail from start to finish. They kept the job site clean, communicated clearly throughout the process, and delivered exactly what they promised. The quality of the work is outstanding, and my new roof looks amazing. They even fixed an unknown mold issue we found after the old roof was taken off! Highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and top-notch roofing work!

About a month ago we noticed a tiny trail of water inside one of our upstairs bedrooms. We contacted Smith Roofing (highly recommended by local community members) and had them come out to inspect what we anticipated was a leak starting near our chimney. Every step from initial call to completion was top notch. Deb was easy to get information from. Chris was professional and quick in his assessment. The crew was efficient, kept a clean work area and had it all wrapped up same day. We are beyond thrilled with this entire experience.

Dealing with Nicholas was a pleasure compared to the MANY other roofing companies I called for quotes and service. I had one company quote a price more than DOUBLE what was quoted by Smith Roofing. The crew Smith Roofing sent out to perform the roof replacement was completed within the day. I would definitely work with Smith Roofing again.

We needed to replace the roof on our barn and contracted with Smith Roofing to replace the damaged T-Lock shingles with metal roofing. Matt was very personable and extremely responsive to messages. His entire crew came out and had our barn roof done in two days. Everyone was very professional. Our roof looks great! We can’t say enough good things about Smith Roofing. Nicholas provided great customer service!! His responses were prompt, all questions answered appropriately, and very professional!! Smith Roofing has done two roofs for me in the last 5 months. One on a house we sold and one on the house we purchased. Good communication and responsive. Got the new house roof done right before the new year. Pleased it was done before it was too cold and snowy.

We had a leak in our roof, and tried to get things accomplished through our insurance company, and it was a mess. Finally, I reached out to Smith Roofing to come take a look at it, and he was so honest and up front about how it goes—it’s what I expect and love with a true well run business. They document everything, and it was just so refreshing to just work with someone who can get the job completed not only efficiently, but correctly. Felt very good in their hands. Will use them again for our boathouse.

I was extremely satisfied with the overall work and effort that went into replacing the shingles, plywood and face boards on my 142 yr old barn. Nicholas was there overseeing the job and addressed a few concerns I had right away and my barn looks amazing! The crew stayed and finished in 1 day. I was throughly impressed that there was NO remnants left on the ground or any sign that they were even there after they were done except my nice NEW roof!

Small roof job for Matt, his dad & crew, but wow huge improvement for me. Rubber roof & flashing over dated aluminum modular addition on the back of my historical house (1908) + Juliet balcony; added replacement glass skylights (old ones were plexiglass with plexi covers). Big improvement; so quiet when it rains & much better light. Also real gutter. Amazing improvement, thank you truly !!

I had a major leak in my salon roof, Razors Edge in Sharon WI, and Nicolas was quick to get there, remove the flat roof and replace with new wood and rubber. A few months later I had him back to do the gable side in metal with lots of new wood. There was an issue after he was done and he was quick to back and resolve it. So pleased with the quality and knowing that it will last for years to come! Look forward to using Smith Roofing for future projects

Matt and his team replaced our roof before selling our house this fall. He came out to meet with us about our project and was able to work around some time constraints we had.
